Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.
* Master's degree in either Nursing or Business required.
* Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NJ.
* 7-10 years of vascular clinical experience.
* 5-7 years of leadership experience overseeing strategy and operations of a service line required.
* Membership and active participation in professional organizations.



POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Director is a registered professional nurse, who ensures the effective and efficient operation of the vascular service line, clinically, strategically and administratively. This includes inpatient as well as outpatient vascular services.



This position is responsible for coordination of, planning, implementation, operational oversight and strategic development of the Vascular Service Line from an inpatient and ambulatory perspective, inclusive of any ambulatory or other third party relationships. The Administrative Director partners with the Medical Director of the Vascular Practice as well as the AVP for the Surgical Service Line to collectively establish and lead a cohesive organizational structure that supports the care continuum for vascular care. The Director will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assure seamless coordination of care throughout full care continuum by creating efficiencies in day-to-day processes and ensuring timely access to patients at the right time and place. The Administrative Director will work with senior leaders to recruit to fill those gaps and develop programs to support the identified community need. The Administrative Director is responsible for the financial viability of vascular initiatives, which consist of appropriate prioritization and distribution of resources across the service line and seeking methods to develop innovative delivery of care models. Establishes close alignment through collaborative relationships with various AtlantiCare entity departments, leadership, direct staff, medical staff, and other specialists integral to the development of the service line. The Administrative Director partners with Quality Management Team, System Risk Management, Chief Safety Officer, and legal to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and accrediting bodies to decrease patient risk events. Responsible for development and implementation of a high quality vascular program with an emphasis on patient satisfaction, data collection and review, evidence based practice, process improvement, and development of clinical pathways and protocols.



The Administrative Director also is responsible for coordination of budget development and reviews achievements of entities within the scope of responsibilities. Plans, organizes, and directs all development and growth strategies for vascular services at AtlantiCare. The Administrative Director seeks necessary knowledge of market place to develop strategy for growth and development. This position also maintains current knowledge of vascular procedures performed. Also, provides effective and responsive leadership for vascular clinical services.



This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.





QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required. Master's degree in either Nursing or Business required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NJ.
EXPERIENCE: 7-10 years of musculoskeletal clinical experience required. 5-7 years of leadership experience overseeing strategy and operations of a service line required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications required. Membership and active participation in professional organizations.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.



WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires frequent walking and standing with occasional bending and stooping.
