PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Performs accounting support duties in the areas of accounts receivable, month-end close, financial reporting and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, labor reporting, budgeting, fixed assets, and inventory issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

Invoice billing and reconciliation

Create miscellaneous billing invoices and enter into SAP

Reconciles Accounts Receivable by analyzing customer account balances, aging reports and collections

Maintain weekly and monthly labor cost reports and graphs

Assist in accounts payable entry, payments and schedules

Assist in month-end close process by evaluating account balances and preparing necessary Journal Entries

Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Perform balance sheet reconciliations

Perform financial analyses as needed

Maintain Fixed Asset register and perform monthly reconciliation of fixed asset accounts and periodic review of the fixed asset register for accuracy and completeness.

Run reports out of SAP

Assisting in ad hoc projects and reporting

Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

Support analysis of inventory.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field experience required,

Minimum of two (2) years general ledger accounting experience.

Experience with SAP or similar programs a plus.

Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.

Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
