Job Summary | The Gatton College of Business and Economics is seeking an academic advisor to support the undergraduate educational enterprise of the College. Advisors build supportive and personalized relationships with students and mentor them through developing and executing their academic plan. Gatton Advisors facilitate student success by implementing proactive strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. Gatton Advisors are the primary liaisons between students and the College and are a vital part of the College’s strategic initiative of creating an academic home for our students. Gatton Advisors also develop and manage programming in cooperation with the College’s Enrichment Coordinators and Graham Office of Career Management to assist with retention, exploration and academic enhancement. Over the last five years our student body has grown by 30% and we are poised for continual improvement in all aspects of student success. The Undergraduate Resource Center in the Gatton College is comprised of nearly 20 professionals who work closely with other unite in the College in preparing students to translate their curricular and co-curricular experiences into 21st century careers.
