**Job Description:**



GDCE vendor management team is accountable for managing complex vendor relationship providing IT & IT enabled services to Bank of America. The team is responsible for the entire vendor life cycle – this includes ensuring the right vendors are empanelled for the global delivery program, manage operational risk & performance and exit vendors that does not meet expectations.



This role will provide thought leadership to the Global Delivery vendor management leadership team, delivers competitive operational insights through an industry focused view, and develops initiatives, plans, and metrics to operationalize the strategy.



+ Collaborate with leadership to define & execute strategic and operational initiatives associated with global delivery.

+ Problem-solve with stakeholders across levels to deliver strategic insights and recommendations on key initiatives based on industry trends and best practices.

+ Define and execute strategic & operational initiatives end to end.

+ Support Vendor Management operations and analytics and drive efficiencies.



**Required Skills:**



+ Bachelor’s degree required.

+ 10+ years of overall IT industry experience with 3-5 years of experience at an outsourcing advisory firm, management consulting firm or equivalent program management experience for a technology firm.

+ A good understand of IT service provider delivery organization structure and cost structures.

+ Good exposure to Global Delivery Models, Pricing, IT outsourcing and awareness of industry trends.

+ Experience in managing large vendors or setting up vendor management function for Financial Services clients through outsourcing advisory firms.

+ Leader with strong project/program management, problem solving and analysis, written/verbal communication (framing and storytelling), and interpersonal skills with senior leaders.

+ Enthusiastic problem solver with a track record of structuring and executing complex analyses to support strategy, and works well in a constantly evolving environment

+ Proven ability to assume a leadership role in resolving issues and acting as an arbiter / mediator between internal and external stakeholders.

+ Demonstrated results orientation, implementing practices and processes that driveaccountability; willing to reexamine and adjust where necessary



**Desired Skills:**



+ Experience with Big 4 consulting firms in an outsourcing advisory services team or market research firms tracking IT outsourcing trends.

+ Exposure to IT enabled services (Business Process Outsourcing) & Service provider landscape

Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the IT service delivery process. Associates in this job code do not manage people.
