If yes, ASML Wilton is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineering professional to help shape and execute on a Quality role within the Wilton Development and Engineering organization.

The department DE US Wilton is responsible for specification, design, integration, qualification, industrialization and delivery of the following functions: reticle positioning, reticle handling, alignment sensor. These functions are delivered through modules which fit into ASML end products and meet ASML business requirements.
Approximately 10 - 15% travel is required.

## Job Description

As a Quality Engineer you take responsibility for providing insights into the Quality of the Development and Engineering organization Product Development processes and deliverables. This includes driving Quality Improvements in reporting, way of working, tools, root cause analysis methodologies, coaching and training. You also have the opportunity to help shape a new Quality Engineering role within a Development and Engineering organization. As an ASML Quality Engineer, you will not only need excellent technical skills but also need the ability to network and communicate with other ASML disciplines (e.g. Customer Support, Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing).

* Drive for continuous improvement. Facilitate engineers to find Root Causes of (non-) technical issues and translate them into lessons learned. Enable competence leads/owners to translate lessons learned into guidelines, design rules, or process improvements.
* Bring the Voice of the (internal / external) Customer into the Department by providing feedback from customers, suppliers, warehouses, factory and integration to the department. Improve the feedback loop.
* Initiate and drive Product and Process improvements to reduce and/or prevent Quality issues
* Interact with the Development & Engineering Projects (Project leaders, Architects and design engineers) to prevent Quality issue’s / failures for new parts/systems by supporting and coaching projects and their engineers on the quality aspects of their deliverables.
* Collaborate with Quality organization in Operations and Field Service areas
* Participate in cross department initiatives by identifying improvements to improve Parts Quality and its processes
* Design Assurance – Provide feedback to line and project management of PGP, Key Decision, and design review adherence to improve quality of product development.
* Link to the overall ASML and D&E; Quality Management System.
* Effectively employ root cause analyzing and problem solving tools/methodology
* Provide feedback on company standard risk management tools (i.e., SRA’s, FMEA's, pFMEA’s) utilized for development projects
* Assure proper supplier selection based on provided performance of new and existing suppliers to support design and development, and to drive supplier improvement efforts.
* Provide on a regular basis insight on performance in terms of parts usage, product performance, quality sensitive elements in design process adherence

## Education

* Bachelor or Master degree in Applied Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience

## Experience

* Demonstrated skills in Quality Engineering.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in complex multidisciplinary technical team(s).
* Theoretical or practical experience with mechatronic systems, optical systems, control engineering, actuator design, dynamics.
* Demonstrated ability to perform Statistical Analysis.
* Broad experience in covering product development, manufacturing, qualification and service aspects
* Prefer candidate to be an certified by American Society of Quality Engineering or similar
