## Job Mission

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E;) is responsible for the specification and the design of ASML products. ASML D&E; in Wilton CT (US) is seeking a Manager to lead the integration personnel within the Integration and Reliability Engineering group and this position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Integration and Reliability. In this position you will be the line manager of a team that working with development projects integrates for the first time a wide variety of HW, SW, and other deliveries into a complex test rig or proto and verifies that it performs at a the specified level.

## Job Description

This person will report to the Senior Manager of Integration and Reliability Engineering. The job requires a strong leader to:

* Directly manage a team of ~15 engineers of various degree levels and disciplines.
* Lead recruiting activities for your group, and support recruiting activities for the Integration and Reliability group and D&E; organization;
* Be responsible for all aspects of people management: training, performance management, coaching / mentoring, project assignments, budgets, team building;
* Drive your teams technology development: Stay current with the latest machine technology developments and ways of working in integration
* Work with your proto integrators, proto engineers, system test engineers, upgrade managers on competence development, problem solving, lessons learned.
* Be responsible for team quality and efficiency
* Manage your stakeholders: Communicate with your stakeholders and customers on a routine basis, set expectations and communicate any gaps;
* Create a vision for your group and drive your team; Strive to be a learning organization; Create an environment of continuous improvement;
* Drive your teams technology development. Work with your project leads and architects on technology road mapping, competence development, and problem solving.
* Some travel ( ~ 15%) to Europe, Asia, and within the US can be expected.

## Education

* Minimum BS Engineering. Advanced degree and/or degree in technical management field (Management of Technology or Engineering Management) a plus or equivalent experience

## Experience

* Four to 6 years of industry experience in development of complex high-tech systems along with 2 years minimum of management experience of direct reports.

* Possess strong leadership and ownership characteristics – demonstrated commitment to achieving results on time and a sense of urgency.
* Have strong written and oral communicative skills in English – ability to communicate effectively to your team and to senior management;
* Be a demonstrated “team player” with a quality orientation and interpersonal skill, and ownership.
* Have experience in one or more technical fields: mechatronics, mechanics, electronics, software, physics, optics. Experience developing multi-disciplinary products is a plus.
* Capability to interface with multidisciplinary groups (including senior leadership), and be willing to take on responsibility, follow through and monitor teams to keep multiple simultaneous projects on schedule.
* Have strong problem solving skills in order to debug highly complex technical issues;
