We stock products direct from more than 300 brand and generic manufacturers, and are focused on delivering customized programs that support our customer and manufacturer needs.  Anda carries pharmaceutical products direct from over 300 manufacturers including generic, brand and specialty drugs, vaccines, injectables, medical/surgical supplies, OTCs/Vitamins and pet medications. Our breadth of products, personalized service, and competitive pricing allows us to meet the pharmaceutical purchasing needs of our customers from the independent pharmacist to the small and large chain pharmacists. We are also here to help meet the needs of our customers in long term care pharmacies, managed care facilities, mail order pharmacies, physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and student health centers.


We currently have an opening for an Inside Sales Specialist I for a 10-7 shift with a Saturday rotation. Must also be flexible to work 10:30AM-7:30PM.


Position Description:


With direct supervision and support, responsible for achieving the individual assigned sales goals of Anda.

  • Initiates outbound and receives inbound telephone calls for the purpose of selling Anda products, but not limited to vaccine, medical surgical products, surgical supplies, generic items, brands items and consumer products.
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
  • Achieves/exceeds established daily and monthly productivity goals for phone time, call count and revenue, with an emphasis on growing and retaining their existing customer base.
  • Places outbound telephone calls to and from independent Pharmacies, in effort to promote and sell Anda products, establish buying cycles, fill customer needs and create strong customer relationship.
  • Updates existing accounts, opens new accounts and manage aspects of the customer needs through, but not limited to credit limits, customer issues and updating customer information that all lead to better customer experiences.
  • Manages existing account database, and ensures licenses are current and up to date.
  • Prepares sales information for customers


Minimum Qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent, and minimum of two (2) or more years related experience, pably in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Knowledge and Skills:


Knowledge of:

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Business and personal computer hardware and software applications.
  • Pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy and other retail distribution channels.
  • Sales products, such as OTC, vitamin, supplement, injectible products and veterinarian products.
  • Intermediate or advanced Windows based computer skills.
  • Current Company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations.

Skill in:

  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.
  • Establish and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Leveraging selling skills, product, and technical knowledge to drive results with customers.
  • Adapting to and working well in an environment that has change.
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Good work ethic and able to follow directions and instructions.
