## Job Mission

Safety support for CS customer fabs with NXE equipment.

## Job Description

Supports the local CS NPI team to ensure the safety of working with new technologies (EUV) at customer sites. This includes also all other ASML activities at the NPI customer site like Installs and Field Factory projects.Support management to ensure a safe way of working. Periodically review if all requirements for a safe way of working are in place (service mix, safety experts(H2, Electrical), trainings etc .Train and instruct NPI engineers on technology related safety issues. Align with the assigned local specific safety experts (H2, Electrical,) Reviews compliance to customer safety requirements and ASML safety and housekeeping requirements (Coach) by safety inspections and audits. Audit PM Mandatory Safety Manual. Coordinate of the local NPI Safety Review Board process (CS Safety Escalation process). Structural follow up of Safety structural issue via AIR. Sign off of Permit to Work forms (or organizes the process). Act as local point of contact for all technology related safety questions. Is assigned as the local Laser Safety Officers for the local NPI field activities. Do Accident, incident and near miss investigation. Actively participate in NPI WW Safety Community. Escalate safety issues to local management and CS EHS management if needed. Reach out to the Safety Experts (Local Safety Specialist, CS EHS, Product safety)if needed. Report monthly progress to the local NPI management team (part of the Safety plan and reporting process)

Is part of the EUV Fab team. Reports to the EUV Fabmanager or his direct reports as documented in the blue-print. Has a functional reporting line to the NPI EHS Segment Lead

Follow-up of accidents, incidents and near misses. Local SRB coordination. Safety inspections and audits. Ensures safety supplies (PPE), Review compliance with customer safety requirements

Local safety expert on a complex technology (EUV) still in development, including all safety measures and actions needed. Interacts with local ASML fab management and site management and customer safety stakeholders.

Experienced first or second line NXE engineer (Bachelor level or equivalent experience)
