The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customers’ site and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local sited Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customers within the specific region.

## Job Description

Create a self-propelling team that supports EUV technology by active technical and non-technical development of people.

* In this team you have a large mix of responsibilities: New product introduction, upgrade/repair preparation and coordination, OPEX and performance reporting , configuration management, Safety, knowledge management, site readiness. This team is part of the local EUV support team and as the manager, you supervise this group of PL’s and coordinators.

* Coaches the EUV team members, delegates tasks, sets priorities, solves problems and contributes to a productive working climate.

* Ensure adequate organization and staffing of the team to meet the requirements of the competence and fab operations team.

* Drive continuous improvement on product, process and local organization in order to meet customer performance expectations and drive local efficiency.

* Ensure proper execution of HRM policies and procedures. Prepare and conduct employee appraisals.

* Responsible for the planning and realization of operational activities and projects in the team. Responsible for the quality of the team output.

* Support Local Team in the area of performance improvement and skill development as required / requested.

* Together with the EUV staff, be responsible for EUV planning and execution of major upgrades, installs, projects within agreed requirements (timeline, performance).

* Facilitate communications between ASML Veldhoven/San Diego (both CS and D&E; counterparts) and the local EUV support team. Help to create cultural awareness for the local organization in Veldhoven in order to optimize the communication.

* Responsible for receiving and transferring knowledge and information from the factory and customer through the organization in an effective and efficient manner.

* Drive proactive and reactive structural improvements to increase EUV system performance.

## Education

Requires technical degree, advanced degree preferable, or equivalent experience;
Min. 5 yrs. industry experience with degree, or 10+ yrs. related industry experience;

## Experience

* Direct stepper and/or scanner related experience in the semiconductor or related industry.

* In-depth understanding of ASML products and operations.

* High level of technical ability.

* Proven line management and process management skills.

* Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to direct activities of others to accomplish goals.
