Informa Financial Intelligence is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Nashville team.  We provide a unique and a valuable platform consisting of research, data and solutions for the banking, asset management, trading, wealth management and advisory markets. The Account Manager is the Customer expert.  He or she maintains / expands relationships with their Account base and is responsible for achieving sales quota and retaining revenue.  The Account Manager must be knowledgeable in the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met.  This role will report to the Director of Sales, SME. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Protect customer revenue, through managing renewal of services. 
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Drive new business within each account
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completes customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Develop & Implement Account Strategy & Plan.
  • Drive towards achieving Account Dashboard targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities to improve account penetration.
  • Support Sales Specialists in Opportunity Development.
  • Manage the Opportunity Funnel.
  • Conduct Win/Loss Analysis.
  • Support Account Marketing Activities.
  • Map & track account relationships. Build senior management relationships.
  • Manage Account Portfolio.
  • Prepare & Conduct Account Team meetings.
  • Prepare & Conduct Quarterly Account Business reviews.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five years of strategic sales or account management experience in a business-to business sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry with focus on the Buy-Side and/or Wealth Management
  • PC proficiency
